Ann Barcomb speaker		Ann Barcomb studied writing, history and philosophy at Western Washington University. During her final year at school she was convinced by some friends to try programming again. It proved quite different from her 1985 experience of BASIC on the Apple ][+, and when Ann encountered Perl she was hooked. She lives and works in the Netherlands and uses her degre to write weblogs and documentation.>
