| The presentation takes a look at how national economies and local small and medium IT-businesses can benefit from using Open Source foundation tools and applications to build value-added and integration IT-solutions - if the governments take a responsible and long-view approach to contracting Open Source work. Relative local value addition and retention of profit is much higher with developing upon free software, as compared to proprietary systems building - where the vendor controls and provides the most value. |
